In a move that may remind many of dipping their fries in a chocolate shake, McDonald’s Japan is smothering French fries in two chocolate sauces (330 JPY or 134 PHP).
You read that right, the McChoco Potato is drenched with chocolate sauce and white milk chocolate.
Because two is always better than one, right?
“The combination creates a wonderful salty and sweet harmonious taste,” according to a statement from McDonald’s.
This isn’t the first time McDonald’s Japan has put a new spin on French fries. In the past, the chains offered Shaka Shaka Potato fries, which were covered with cheese sauce or bacon.
On social media, the reaction to the chocolate fries was mixed, though some said they were ready to move to Japan to get their hands on the McChoco Potato.
