President Duterte of the Philippines continues to crack down on mafia strictly, just recently He ordered the destruction of smuggled luxury cars, aiming to show no mercy at whoever breaks the law.
Thus his administration is showing that nobody and nobody will be ever treated above the law.
Luxury cars are lined up in customs authorities in Manila. The order issued from President Duterte who visited the inspection was to destroy all of the luxury cars. Then, a large shovel car and a bulldozer was driven down on a luxury cars without mercy. The luxury cars usually came from Germany and Britain, about 30 confiscated units due to smuggling were quickly crushed. In the Philippines, seized goods are said to have been auctioned, but it seems that there is aim to show President Duterte’s strict attitude towards smuggled goods by scraping them all out.
