Gifu Intercompany Basketball League
Opening Day March 11, 2018 G&B Yaotsu Gym, Kani, GIfu
The Gifu Intercompany Basketball League’s (GIBL) annual event was held last March 11, 2018 Sunday at B&G Yaotsu Gym in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture. Nine Filipino teams from various companies, associations and private business groups from Gifu City participated the event. Close to 200 participants, supporters, sponsors and spectators came to witness the opening match and celebration.
Highlights of the event were the opening parade of all participating teams with their respective muses. The Best in Uniform Award was given to Autofield Team with the award accepted by Mr. Joel Lim of Bless Sari Sari Store in Gifu. The Best Muse Award went to Ms. Ijima Hiromi (a Japanese descendant) representing Maruwa Team. Thanks to the organizers of the event headed by GIBL Chairperson Pilsander Mudjakate and to Jay Ar Francisco, the founder of GIBL (since summer of 2013). Best of luck to all teams and see you all in the finals!
