The Nagoya Port “Hanabi” Festival 2016

The Nagoya Port Hanabi Festival is always the most awaited event of the year by many tourists and locals. This has always been an opening ceremony for the summer season. Considering this attraction the most special time of the year. The best and great way to spend quality time with your family and friends. People, especially kids enjoys wearing “yukata” which is a Japanese garment and a casual summer kimono; usually are made of cotton or synthetic fabric. Walking around the streets headed to the port gathering with their friends. Those who are living nearby, stayed in their homes and just celebrated outside their residence with the neighborhood having barbecue and few drinks.

Comparing the fireworks display among the others, the Nagoya Port’s Hanabi display seems to be smaller and simpler, but still the performance of the crew is worth the wait due to its sparkling, fascinating and astounding view.

If you are planning to attend the festival in near future, always make sure to get there as early as possible. The roads are closed for security and safety. Most of the visitors walked, took commutes and didn’t plan on risking in being stranded in a long and heavy traffic.

People came early to take the best spot and ready to place their tents and picnic mats.

Enjoying the great outdoors with the whole family.
