Anime Convention is an event or gathering with a primary focus on anime, manga and Japanese culture. Commonly, anime conventions are multi-day events hosted at convention centers, hotels or college campuses. Featuring wide variety of activities and panels, with a larger number of attendees participating in cosplay than most other types of fan conventions. This conventions are also used as a vehicle for industry, in which studios, distributors, and publishers represent their anime related releases.

Machicon (which can also be spelled as maticon, matikon or machikon) is a very large-scale dating event originated from Japan about 10 years ago. It is a singles match-making party that brings together single men and women. Participants are free to hop around bars and restaurants and drink all you can drink and eat all you can eat. Food and drinks aside, you are also able to meet new people and hopefully, your love.

Machicon event for anime fans Ani☆Con is making a collaboration event with AnimeJapan 2016. Ani☆Con is a popular machicon event started in 2014 across the country, joined by about 6,500 anime fans. This year, we are coming again with AnimeJapan 2016. In 2015 the event was held for 2 days and both were all sold out. About 600 fans took part in and had a wonderful quality time for anime.
From light users to core fans, anybody is welcomed to participate as long as you like anime.
