EARTHQUAKE HITS THE KANTO REGION

An earthquake was recorded at around 7:46 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16.
The strongest shaking reached Shindo 5-lower in southern Gunma Prefecture and northern Saitama Prefecture.
Shaking was also recorded at:
🟠Shindo 4 in parts of Ibaraki, Tochigi and Saitama
🟡 Shindo 3 in parts of Gunma, Tochigi, Chiba, Tokyo and Kanagawa
🌊 No tsunami warning has been issued.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to check for fallen or unstable objects and continue following official updates.
