HALLOWEEN: Rejection on Shibuya

NO EVENTS FOR HALLOWEEN ON SHIBUYA STREETS!

This was the sign displayed in Shibuya. DJ Police were also seen in the streets.

With Halloween just two days away, the Metropolitan Police Department and others were on alert around Shibuya Station on Sunday, but few people in costumes were seen and there were no major problems.

DJ Police can be heard saying: “The signal will be changing shortly. Please do not cross the street unnecessarily.”

On Sunday, as on Saturday, measures were taken to prevent people from staying in the area, such as closing some entrances and exits at Shibuya Station and installing one-way fences at the Center Street entrances.

While Shibuya Ward asked people not to come to the area around Shibuya Station during Halloween, there were few people drinking alcohol or wearing costumes on the streets around Shibuya Station, and according to the Metropolitan Police Department, there was no major trouble or confusion.
