Haneda Airport Scare: Emergency Evacuation
A serious incident occurred at Haneda Airport, where a Japan Airlines (JAL) aircraft, having landed on runway C, caught fire. The blaze prompted a massive operation involving 63 vehicles, including fire trucks, to contain the flames. There are unconfirmed reports of a collision between the JAL aircraft and a Japanese Coast Guard aircraft.

The flight involved in the fire is JAL516, which departed from Shin-Chitose Airport bound for Haneda Airport. As of now, 63 vehicles, including fire trucks dispatched by the Tokyo Fire Department, are undertaking firefighting operations at the airport premises.
Unconfirmed reports indicate an incident involving a collision between the Japan Airlines aircraft and a Japanese Coast Guard aircraft, and the Ministry of Transport is conducting investigations to ascertain the facts.
According to information released by the Japan Airlines’ public relations team, the flight was nearly full, carrying 367 individuals, including 359 passengers and 8 children. However, all 12 crew members and passengers have been safely evacuated.
