I was there during the One OK Rock Live in Manila concert last January 19, 2016 at the Mall of Asia arena and the “feels” is still present to this day (welcome February by the way)!
Gates were supposed to be open by 6PM. Andun na kami a little past 6 at overwhelmed na ako sa dami ng taong nakapila. It’s my first time at the MOA Arena so hindi ko alam kung paano ang proseso doon.
It’s the band’s first time in the Philippines and the 35xxxv is what the tour is all about. This is also the album’s title and the first track on the set.
Although majority of attendees are teens and early 20’s, nanood din pala si Arnel Pineda from Journey so hindi na masyadong akward sa edad. By the way, a lot of the bands which influenced One OK Rock were the same bands I listen to – Linkin Park, Nirvana, Green Day, Blink 182, Simple Plan, and more so they’re not so young after all in terms of musical taste.
