TECHNICAL TRAINEES as Nursing Assistants
Based on the foreign technical internship system, the hospital, Steel Memorial Muroran Hospital, has accepted two trainees from Myanmar since August 2023. The technical internship system is a system for training foreign nationals in Japan.
The technical internship system is a system under which foreign nationals are accepted for a certain period of time in Japan to learn skills and techniques through work in the workplace,
The technical internship program is an initiative to accept foreign nationals for a certain period of time in Japan and have them learn skills and techniques through work in the workplace.
They work as nursing assistants in the hospital wards, assisting patients with bathing and elimination. They are also involved in tasks such as assisting patients to move from their beds to stretchers or wheelchairs. They also support hospitalized patients by doing the heavy lifting when transferring patients from beds to stretchers and wheelchairs.
In addition to their work at the hospital, the trainees are also studying Japanese language to deepen their skills.
