Aktwal na karanasan ng mga kapwa natin pinoy na bumiyahe pauwi ng Pilipinas. Para sa mga nagnanais na makauwi sa mga susunod na buwan o araw. With in 24hrs lalabas ang result nyo kya it’s better na 1day lng ang book nyo, then mag extend nlng kau per hr kung di pa nalabas ang result nyo at maabutan kau ng check out time,

After swab, dederecho na kau sa immigration pra Kunin bagahe nyo, then meron uli pila sa labas may fill up uli form kung san kau mag stay na hotel, then iaassist nila kau sa AIRPORT METERED TAXI

Ito naman ang kwento ng isang OFW sa kanyang karanasan sa paguwi sa Pilipinas.
“I am an OFW. I arrived last night (Oct 23) at Terminal 3 for my vacation. I spent one night lang sa quarantine hotel.
Tips para sa fellow OFWs na ayaw mag wait ng matagal sa quarantine. Take note that OFWs are still eligible for free swab test arranged by Coast Guard pero ma stuck kayo sa quarantine hotel waiting for result dahil dadalhin ng coast guard ang specimen nyo sa iba’t ibang laboratory. BEFORE ay sa Red Cross lang, 2-3 days lang may result na.
1. Upon arrival, inform the coast guard na mag private swab test kayo otherwise you will be herded with other OFWs. Matagal process dun kasi mag encode pa kayo online and wait nyo matapos yung batch na nauna sa inyo.
2. You will be assisted by staff of private swab test center. After encoding and payment swab test na kayo. I chose package 1 which is 2 day result. I paid by credit card 4000 pesos sa Philippine Airport Diagnostic Laboratory. I selected this instead of Red Cross kasi less queue though mas mura Red Cross. Also, I assumed that PADL analysis is done inside the airport while Red Cross laboratory is outside the airport facility so may transportation time pa. Make sure na ma receive ninyo by email yung ecif ng private swab test center. Kailangan sure ang email nyo dahil result will be sent to your email. May numbers din na ibibigay sa inyo for follow up in case wala pa kayong na receive na result after 48 hours.
3. Para sa immigration procedure. May small bar code sticker dapat sa front cover ng passport nyo after ng swab test. It will be pasted by private swab test staff. Hahanapin ng coast guard yun bago kayo papasukin sa immigration area.
4. Sa luggage claim area search for owwa counter or ask any coast guard personnel. Sa owwa counter, verification lang if nasa database ka nila as OFW bago ka bigyan ng free hotel assignment. May form sa owwa, need nyo ilagay sa form yung number sa baba ng small bar code na dinikit sa passport nyo. May free packed food and water doon.
5. Proceed outside and look for the owwa bus, again coast guard personnel will assist you.
6. Sa hotel, may owwa staff to orient you. Wait for the result by email. Once you receive the result coordinate with owwa staff in the hotel. I receive my result at 10am today. Konti lang kami nag pa swab test last night kaya siguro mabilis lumabas result namin. Everything you need to know para makauwi will be explained by owwa staff, including transportation and BOQ certificate. Different places entail different approach sa paguwi kaya sa owwa staff nyo malaman lahat ng yan. Too long if dito ko explain.
7. At 10:30am nag check out na ako. Hotel was asking for BOQ (Bureau of Quarantine) certificate. I told them not needed as per owwa kasi our LGU is not requiring quarantine as long as negative result ang swab test. BTW, I receive through email my BOQ certificate at around 7pm, nasa bahay na ako.
8. They don’t allow taxi or grab para daw hindi ka ma exposed. Puede ka sunduin ng family or relative mo. I opted for hotel service. 1,500 pesos from Cubao to Rizal area.
P.S. My niece arrived on October 20 waiting pa rin sya sa result ng swab test nya. I encouraged her to take a private swab test on Oct 23, nakauwi na sya the following day. She paid 10k pesos sa Detoxicare; na swab test sya sa H2O Hotel. Today is Oct 26, wala pa rin result ng free swab test nya.
NOTE FOR QR CODES: Iba po QR code or electronic form ng free Coast Guard swab test (balikpinas.ph) paid Red Cross test and PADL test (padlab.ph).

AS OF TODAY, MAY NEWS SA COAST GUARD WEBSITE NA FOR NON-OFW NA LANG ANG PRIVATE SWAB TEST. I SUGGEST YOU INSIST IF WILLING KAYO MAG PAY. AFTER IMMIGRATION SAKA KAYO PUMUNTA SA OWWA COUNTER PARA SA FREE HOTEL.
For Non OFW mas mabilis ang process dahil less queue. Automatic sa private swab test laboratory kayo then immigration procedure. Pag baba sa luggage claim just ask for assistance sa coast guard personnel yung DOT counter kung san kayo puede mag book ng accredited hotels.
In conclusion, mas systematic na sa airport compared last time. Kami yung batch na napunta sa Matabungkay Hotel last April 23. It took us 23 days sa quarantine and blinock pa kami ng mga locals sa Matabungkay. This time, mas organized na ang sistema. No worries whether you are OFW or not. Coast Guard personnel are very helpful and polite, they will guide you and make sure all uour converns are taken care of. Kahit luggage nyo may nakabantay in case matagalan kayo sa procedure.
