Unexploded bomb removal in Nagoya affects transportation and requires evacuation

On April 5, authorities in Nagoya will remove an unexploded bomb in the city center. The operation will begin at 9:30 AM, and a 200-meter radius will be restricted, affecting approximately 1,500 residents who will need to evacuate the area temporarily.
The removal of the device will also impact public transportation. The municipal bus routes Yasui-cho Nishi and Sakae will be rerouted between the Fukuro-machi Dori Honmachi and Meijo Hospital stops, which may cause delays.
Last month, a similar removal took place in the Marunouchi area, with restrictions lifted shortly after noon.
