Flying with Cebu Pacific this summer? You’ll notice something pretty different as soon as you step inside the plane—new uniforms for all members of the cabin crew! Just in time for the airline’s 20th anniversary this March, Cebu Pacific has enlisted the expertise of renowned Filipino couturier Jun Escario to revamp the outfits worn by its flight attendants.
“I approached the task of designing Cebu Pacific’s new cabin crew uniforms with form and function in mind. I really look forward to it being rolled out across the network,” Escario said.
The new uniform takes inspiration from our country’s azure skies and aquamarine waters, and from the cheerful disposition of its people. It includes a bold yellow top and cardigan designed with vertical darts to enhance the wearer’s frame, a ruffled denim skirt with an exposed zip running down one thigh, and a tropical print scarf that’s a breeze to put on.
Accessories and outerwear are part of the outfit upgrade, too! There’s a denim trench coat that comes handy during chilly nights, a straw fedora that keeps away harsh rays from the sun, and nude wedges and navy sneakers for dressing up and down.
The uniform for male cabin crew will reflect the same aesthetic, with yellow long- and short-sleeved polo shirts and jeans.
Cebu Pacific’s new cabin crew uniforms will launch on March 27, 2016.
