Shizuoka, Yaizu city October 22nd 2017
The Outreach Consulate Mission was held in Yaizu City, Shizuoka Province, headed by Ms. Andrea B. Leycano, Third Secretary and Vice Consul. The mission from Tokyo was supported by the local community, led by APIVA, the Association of Pinoy Volunteers for Assistance.
The strong typhoon No.21 that passed through the city did not stop the over 200 applicants to come to the place for the consular procedures.
In addition to the consular services there was a room specially reserved for free legal consultations with the Japanese lawyer Mr. Daiki Kamo of Mate Group and Administrative Lawyer, KY.
Ms. Ana Margarita Teodoro, APIVA President, gave an interview talking about consular assistance on behalf of her group.
