MOVIE ABOUT FILIPINA PUB LADIES
The film “Sociology of Filipina Pub Ladies,” which depicts the pure love between a graduate student from Aichi Prefecture and a woman working in a Filipina pub, was opened to the public and a stage greeting was given.
The film is based on an original story by Nakashima Kosho, a company employee in Kasugai City, and tells the true story of how Mr. Nakajima, a graduate student who chose Philippine pubs as the theme of his master’s thesis, fell in love with a Filipina pub girl from Nagoya who came to Japan through a fake marriage, overcame difficulties, and got married.
On January 12, in conjunction with an advance screening in Aichi, a stage greeting was held in Nagoya, attended by Ms. Nakajima, the author of the original novel, and other guests.
The original author, Nakashima Kosho, is a resident of Kasugai City:
“I think it is very important for me to live a positive and enjoyable life in any environment.”
The film “The Sociology of Filipina Pub Girls” is being screened at Midland Square Cinema in front of Nagoya Station and other locations.
