Omotenashi: Practical Approach of Japan’s Lasting Friendship and Camaraderie
Omotenashi is clearly manifested in a traditional hotel, where every guest is being treated like a VERY IMPORTANT PERSON. Similarly, it is Japan’s excellent way of expressing their politeness. Omotenashi is also evident in restaurants and other types of business establishments and even in their very own households. Although there is no formal approach that is involved in the transcending hospitality culture in Japan, there are certain rules to follow so it will continue to flourish in time.
Though the terminology itself is too difficult to pronounce, it does not matter for as long as the eternal spirit of Omotenashi lives, Japan will always be one of the most revered and well-loved country in Southeast Asia.
