PHILIPPINES: Maghanda ng mga Kinakailangan Para sa Seamless Travel sa Pilipinas -Int’l Tourists

Pinaalalahanan ng Department of Tourism (DOT) noong Biyernes ang mga dayuhang turista na nagpaplanong bumisita sa Pilipinas na ihanda ang lahat ng entry requirements para sa seamless travel.

Ang pahayag ay dumating habang ang Inter-agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) ay naglabas ng Resolution No. 160-B, na nagdedetalye ng bagong entry, testing, at quarantine protocol para sa mga dayuhan na nagmumula sa 157 visa-free na bansa. ,simula Pebrero 10.

“The new guidelines issued by the IATF are an indication that, while the country has opened its borders to fully vaccinated business and leisure visitors, it is doing so with utmost care and with full regard for the health and safety of both visitors and the general public,”  sinabi ni Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat.

Batay sa resolusyon ng IATF, lahat ng dumarating na bisita ay kailangang maipakita ang sumusunod:

1. Acceptable proof of vaccination                                                                                                    
2. Negative RT-PCR test taken within 48 hours before the date and time of departure from the country of origin/first port of embarkation in a continuous travel to the Philippines, excluding lay-overs for their return journey                                                                                                   
3. Valid tickets for their return journey to the port of origin or next port of destination not later than 30 days from the date of arrival in the Philippines                                                                                                    
4. Passports valid for a period of at least six months at the time of their arrival to the Philippines                                                                                                                                           
5. Travel insurance for Covid-19 treatment costs from reputed insurers, with a minimum coverage of USD35,000 for the duration of their stay in the Philippines

Sinabi ni Romulo-Puyat na tanging mga dayuhang bisita lamang ang fully vaccinated ang papayagang makapasok sa bansa.

Ang mga batang wala pang 12 taong gulang ay exempted kung sila ay maglalakbay kasama ang fully vaccinated foreign parents.

Sa kaso ng mga unvaccinated foreign children wala pang 12 taong gulang na maglalakbay kasama ang kanilang mga magulang na Pilipino, sila ay papayagang makapasok at kakailanganing sundin ang mga entry, testing, at quarantine protocol na naaangkop sa kanilang mga magulang na Pilipino.

Samantala, ang mga nasa between 12 to 17 years old ay dapat sumunod sa mga protocol batay sa kanilang vaccination status at dapat samahan ng kanilang mga magulang sa kanilang facility-based quarantine.

Ang isang indibidwal ay itinuring na fully vaccinated kung natanggap niya ang second dose sa isang two-dose series o isang single dose vaccine more than 14 days bago ang petsa at oras ng pag-alis mula sa pinanggalingan.

Bagama’t hindi kinakailangang sumailalim sa facility-based quarantine ang mga foreign visitor, pinaalalahanan ni Romulo-Puyat ang mga arriving traveler na dapat ipagpatuloy ang self-monitoring at mag-report sa local government unit ng kanilang destinasyon sakaling magpakita sila ng anumang coronavirus disease 2019 symptoms.

“The opening of our borders to eligible foreign visitors and the rebound of the tourism industry can only mean the restoration of the livelihood of millions of Filipinos working in tourism-related establishments and businesses who have been displaced by the pandemic. It will contribute greatly to the eventual revival of the Philippine economy,” ayon kay Romulo-Puyat.
