SHIZUOKA: ¥100.000 Aid

Hamamatsu City will be sending out the application form for the Special Cash Payments (100,000 yen/person) today, May 29.
For those who did not submit the early application, instructions on how to fill in the application form are available in multiple languages on the Hamamatsu City Canal Hamamatsu website as well as the Hamamatsu Foundation for International Communication and Exchange (HICE) website. There are also instructional videos on HICE’s YouTube channel.
In addition, the International Relations Division of Hamamatsu City and HICE have sent the translations of the application form in multiple languages to restaurants, stores, human resources companies and foreign residents assistance organizations this week for wide dissemination in order to help those who are not familiar with the Japanese language.

HICE is also in charge of supporting foreign residents with the Special Cash Payment application, among other issues relating to employment and welfare.

In June, together with leaders of the foreign residents’ community, HICE will assist foreign residents with filling out the application form at the Hamamatsu Intercultural Center (Naka-ku, Hayauma-cho 2-1, Create Hamamatsu 4th floor).

The Center has a team of 19 HICE employees, 12 of whom are foreign nationals.
