Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in The Imperial Palace

The Japan Meteorological Agency announced on March 24 that the cherryblossom trees in Tokyo were in full bloom. Because of this the Palace were open to public for hanami viewing within the vicinity.
The Palace was opened to the public on Dai-dori started in 2014 in commemoration of the Emperor’s umbrella, the first time in two years for spring release. Along the street of about 750 meters, there are 31 varieties and 103 trees planted only by cherry blossoms such as Yoshino cherry blossoms and Satozakura which still bloomed in five places.

The Palace will be open from 10 am to 3:30 pm.
