From containers that came from China and landed at Osaka Port, Officers discovered over 2,000 ants “Aliant” of species with strong poisons.
A worker opened a container that arrived at Osaka Port from a port in China / Guangdong province on Wednesday 15th, Osaka Prefecture, and found and reported about 100 of Fire Ants. The container was closed tightly and sent back to Osaka Port, and staff members of the Ministry of the Environment examined the inside, and more than 1900 Ant was found. Together with the workers in the warehouse and the staff of the Ministry of the Environment have stabbed their backs and hands together, the symptoms are light. More than 2,000 fire ants had the most frequent discoveries in Japan, along with the cases found in Okinawa City in Kyoto Prefecture last October.
