EARTHQUAKE: Aerial View

Yamagata dawned on the 19th suffering several aftershocks of minor tremors, after having suffered the strongest, on the 18th, around 22:22 pm a tremor of M6.8 or “Shindo strong” on the Japanese scale.
The aerial image of the city of Tsuruoka, filmed around 6 in the morning, shows broken roofs in some houses.
It is also possible to see several emergency repair units in the city’s electricity grid in action to exit the blackout in about 9,100 houses (adding Yamagata and Niigata).
There are also images of a completely destroyed building inside a fundamental school where sumo (Japanese martial art) was trained. There are no records of injuries at school.
