Okazaki Multicultural Festival 2018
The annual Okazaki Multicultural Festival 2018 was held last January 28, 2018, Sunday at the Tasumigaoka Hall in Aichi-Ken Okazaki-Shi. There were more than 20 local and international groups, organizers, sponsors and local government sectors who participated in the event. Each group showcased different booths displaying authentic cultural products, crafts, customs, food and music. Each participating countries had their own original performances such as martial arts, calisthenics, dance, song and music, and more.
Japanese as well as foreign spectators were able to experience different traditional cultures from each booth. The highlights of the show were the parade of traditional costumes from Brazil and Chinese groups as well as the upbeat dance number from Philippine group wth the overwhelming audience participation.
