PHILIPPINE FESTIVAL 2017
Another Filipino community event was held on last September 30th(Sat) and October 1st (Sun), 2017, at Hibiya Koen, Tokyo which turned out to be successful. The guests who attended the event end the day with joy and pride.
According to Mr. Eric’s of JapinoTV interview with Mr. Jose C. Laurel V, The Ambassador of the Philippines in Japan, the significance of these event is to showcase Filipino traditions and culture to the growing migration and integration of the Filipinos to the Japanese community and society. Not only to those pure Filipinos but also the second generations, Filipino Japanese, and the Japanese residents to absorb the beautiful customs and culture of the Philippines.
His message to everyone is to become do good and avoid the things that should not be done, show greatness, know the difference between the good and the bad, learn the values and norms.
