A day-long Philippine Festival at the Cultural Hall in Kani City Public Arts Center (ALA), Gifu was graced on October 1, 2017.
The event featured filipino cultural songs and dances, a search for Little Ms. Gifu Princess, a street dance competition, film showing and various stalls selling Filipino food and other products. Government authorities from Gifu province, Non-Profit Organization (NPO), and humanitarian agencies apart from many people coming from several neighboring cities attended the event. During the program, gift certificates, freebies and series of raffle draws were given from generous sponsors.
It was concluded by a grand raffle draw round-trip air ticket to the Philippines sponsored by Philippine Airlines (PAL).
The said event was presented by the Philippine Society in Japan Nagoya Chapter (PSJNC) in cooperation with San San Garden, APO Nihon and Duterte Die Hard Supporters (DDS) Kilusang Pagbabago (KP).
