The Japanese Perception of Filipinos

Holistic Perspectives of Japanese toward the Filipinos: The Socio-cultural Anecdotes

Since the dawn of modern civilization, Japan has been constantly perceived as a domineering super power country in Southeast Asia. It proudly provides a kind of political landscape that epitomizes a Parliament and a dynamic Prime Minister with an Iron Hand to drastically fast track relevant social reforms that will strongly emphasize the lasting effects of an unwavering political will in the swift promotion of social justice, a totally unified kind of culture and ideology and most importantly, the equal distribution of natural resources.

The Japanese Perception of Filipinos

Although it is not really nice to brag about, the Philippines has a filthy environment and there were lots of hardened criminals in the cradling arms of the Pearl of the Orient. In fact, there is a Japanese teacher who became a victim of a snatching incident. On the other hand, another citizen of Japan has nothing to say but all praises with respect to the genial optimism of Filipinos despite of the many adversities and challenges that come their way. Climate wise, another Japanese said that the Philippines is a very hot country unlike in their own native land.

Economically, the Filipinos are heavily burdened with being poor or extreme poverty. This is due to a fact, that the prices of commodities are too affordable ngunit sa kasamaang palad, di naman tumataas ang sahod ng  mga mangagagawang Filipino. In general,  ilan  sa mga Pinoy ay sinasabing very uncool as compared to other foreigners.
