A SUPER TATSUYA supermarket in the city of Gamagori sold the famous “fugu” fish (Baiacú) and known for containing a potent poison in its internal organs. The symptoms are numbness/paralysis of the lips and tongue that appears between 20 minutes to 3 hours after ingestion of the fish. The patient will remain conscious and lucid until the near-death period. Death may occur within 4-6 hours. After inspection, it was verified that 7 in 5 trays of the said fish were sold by 5 customers and the 2 are still unidentified.
