Picking sweet and sour mulberries is open for a limited time.
In Kai City, Yamanashi Prefecture, a picking garden of mulberry fruit was opened to make use of the abandoned mulberry field as a sightseeing spot. The fruit of mulberry is easily damaged if it is ripe, so picking is limited for a period of up to 10 days only. This time of the year on the day of high continued temperature, there are more fruits than usual.
