TOKYO: Babysitter Arrested

A 37-year-old male babysitter was arrested by the Metropolitan Police Department on suspicion of indecent acts toward two young sisters he was attending to.

Several indecent images of the girls were found on the babysitter’s computer, and the Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the case in detail.

The arrested suspect is Daichi Goto, 37, a company employee living in Nakano Ward, Tokyo.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, he is suspected of committing indecent acts, such as kissing and touching the lower half of his body, against two sisters with preschool children at a residence in Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo, where he visited them in August of this year.

The suspect was registered with a home daycare company and was dispatched to a residence where he was requested to babysit. The suspect told the sisters, “Don’t tell Mom,” but when the mother became suspicious about the older sister’s story, she consulted the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.
