It is a report from Hiroshima City Aki Ward where a mountain slope crumbled and a large amount of earth and sand flowed into the residential area.

A lot of water is flowing in the prefectural road No. 34 connecting Hiroshima City and Hiroshima Prefecture , Kumano Town and it looks like a river because of it. With as many as 10 cars crashed and stopped, lots of trees are also flowing in. The earth and sand also caught on the house. Even in the area called Ume River complex, a large amount of earth and sand flows into the house, leaving only the foundation, the shape of the house is gone. Because there are missing people, police and fire department etc. come from other prefectures such as the Metropolitan Police Department and helped in the search and rescue operation. Also, a large amount of earth and sand are flowing in houses and roads. The temperature is getting higher and the hot condition continues, but from the morning of the 9th the locals have been deprived of work.
